A short clip filmed from inside a microwave: the door opens, I look in, take a black mug, and close it again.

Head of Technology & AI Innovation

Jhosmar Suarez

23-year-old Systems Engineer

I'm a person that does things. If you need it built, I can build it

What I do

Plainly, and without the jargon: what actually changes for you.

How I do it

AI first. Everything else is what holds it up.

What I've built

One I can show you.

How I got here

Seven stops, in order. It started before university.

  1. A younger me in a white t-shirt at the kitchen counter, hunched over a laptop, typing.
My first hello world was in C, from a YouTube tutorial.
A close selfie at night, lit by the monitor beside me with a game paused on screen.
    I felt like a hacker.

    First lines of code

  2. Me at night at a small desk against a green wall, turning to the camera, the finished page open on the laptop.
Jumped to HTML and CSS. Color, finally, outside the console.
The same night from behind: the editor open, the page I was building on screen.
    Found Visual Studio.

    First web page

  3. Four of us posing outside the UNEFA campus on a bright day, still in face masks, with the flagpole and the walkways behind.
    Day one.
Three of us at a stand at a university fair, with our project on a screen behind and a hand-lettered board listing the technologies we used.
Showed projects at events. Made local contacts.

    UNEFA

    Systems Engineering

Five years of engineering: programming, networks, databases and system architecture.

  4. A computer lab: I am at the big screen explaining a Python exercise while two students follow along from their desks.
Teaching forced me to actually understand it.
A classroom of uniformed students at computers, with me at the front beside a diagram projected on the wall.
Travelled the whole state, helping institutions and teaching kids.
Me in front of a large screen at the CONSI information security congress.
Went to the capital for an international security conference.

    Fundacite Táchira

    IT Specialist and Instructor

A role centred on spreading technical and scientific knowledge, and on giving institutions technology support.

  5. The SEO Contenidos floor during a working day: rows of desks with monitors, the team at work, and windows running the length of the wall.
    My first dev team.
Three of us at the same office, mid-shift, with monitors and a microphone on the desks and the company logo on the wall behind.
    First crises and overtime, survived.
Two open pizza boxes on a meeting-room table, with cups, a phone and the team around it.
They paid us in pizza, obviously.
Me reflected in the mirror of one of the interactive AI installations we built for the event, under purple lighting.
We ran several of the AI experiences at SEOConf 2025.

    SEO Contenidos

    Full Stack Developer

End to end - interface, API and database of the same product - all of it aimed at automating processes and building AI into what we shipped.

  6. A meeting room at the state government offices: five of us around a long table, a screen at the end and the city through the window.
Did my internship while holding the other job.

    Gobernación del Estado Táchira

    Software Engineering Intern

I worked in the systems department, adapting the purchasing module of their ERP to what the state government actually needed.

  7. Me at my desk in a denim jacket, turned away from two monitors and a microphone, next to a tall window.
They gave me my own desk.
A company announcement card with my portrait, reading "Lider de Programacion - Jhosmar Suarez".
    When they made it official.
